Playground Terms & Rules
Welcome to our indoor playground party room! We want you and your gesture to have a fantastic and safe experience, so please read and adhere to the following terms and rules;
- Booking and Reservations; a. All party bookings require a deposit to recure the reservation. b. Parties should be booked in advance to ensure availability. c. Please provide accurate guest counts when making reservations, as party packages are based on the number of guests.
- Party Package Selection: a. Choose a party package the suits your needs, including the number of guests and additional amenities. b. Any extra services or add-ons must be requested at least 48 hours before the party.
- Arrival Time: a. Arrive on time for your party, as we have a set schedule for each event. b. Early arrivals may not be accommodated due to other scheduled parties. c. If you need more time to set up your party room, please contact us.
- Guest Waivers; a. All participants must complete a liability waiver before entering the play area. b. Waivers can be completed online or in person.
- Party Decorations: a. Feel free to bring decorations for your party room, but please avoid using adhesives or tapes that could damage our walls. b. Helium balloons are allowed.
- Food and Beverages; a. Outside food and beverage are allowed. b. Check with our staff for specific policies on food and drink.
- Party Etiquette; a. Be considerate of other parties and guests in the facility. b. Always supervise children to ensure their safety and proper conduct. c. No running or rough play inside the party room. d. Maintain a clean and tidy environment.
- Safety: a. Follow all posted safety rules and instructions from our staff. b. Participants must wear appropriate socks for designated play areas. c. Report any accidents or incidents to our staff immediately.
- Clean-Up: a. Dispose of all trash and used decorations properly.
- Cancellation Policy; b. Review our cancellation policy regarding refunds and rescheduling options. b. Notify us of any changes to your reservation as soon as possible.
- Liability: a. Participants and guests enter and use our facilities at their own risk. b. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Compliance: a. Failure to comply with these terms and rules may result in the cancellation of your party or removal from the premises without a refund.
- Not Nuts; We are a NUT-aware environment. All other outside food must be NUT FREE. If you have any questions, please contact us.
- Socks are mandatory for both children and adults. NO shoes and bare feet allowed in the playground.
- Joyous Planet indoor playground is a SHARE facility where you may overlap with another party.
- You will have 30 minutes to set up your party room.
- You are responsible for removing all your personal belongings from the party room, and you have 15 minutes to tidy up. No additional time is allowed.
- The person booking the party room is responsible for the supervision and safety of all the invited children. Be sure to have extra support to assist you in running your party safely and smoothly.
- The person booking the party must ensure that all guests respect the rules and procedures of the playground so the facility would be a safe place for everyone.
- NO alcoholic beverages or smoking permitted. (Alcoholic Permits Application is accepted)
Party Payment Policies & Conditions
- A $100.00 for regular party room, $200 for private party non-refundable/non transferable deposit is required within 2 days of booking. If deposit is not given within the 2 days, your spot will be cancelled without notice.
**Balance to be paid on the day of party by cash, DEBIT, VISA, or MASTERCARD. Cheques are not accepted.
- It is essential that you arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled party time (FOR SETUP ONLY). Be prepared to leave on time. Parties must begin to tidy up 10 minutes before completion time to allow staff to clean up for the following party. NO additional time is allowed.
- Any time taken beyond your scheduled booking will result in a $40 additional fee. Even though you have paid the additional late charge, it does not allow you extra time to stay on the premises. If your party is later than your scheduled time, an additional $40 will be added to your final bill.
- All children and adults attending the party, including siblings of invited guests, siblings of the Birthday child, the Birthday child and family are counted towards the party limits.
- Your party may share the facility with other parties unless you have chosen the Exclusive Extravaganza Party Package at the time of booking.
- If invited children are to exceed 30, please notify Joyous Planet Indoor Playground at time of booking for party options.
- We require at least one week’s notice for Party Extras such as cake, loot bags and balloon orders. Once orders are confirmed, fees will be added to your bill and may not be cancelled.
- All party packages including the number of guests are to be finalized one week in advance. Any downgrades to party packages will result a $20 additional fee.
- All Character Parties, Special guests, Artists, Entertainers can booked through Joyous Planet Indoor Playground. If you wish to bring in a specific service that we do not provide, it must be indicated at the time of booking. Pre-approval must be granted for every service that is not booked through Joyous Planet Indoor Playground. Joyous Planet Indoor Playground reserves all rights to refuse service.
10. The person(s) booking the party are solely responsible for the supervision and safety of all the invited children. Please ensure that all guests are respecting the rules and procedures of the playground so that the facility would be a safe place for everyone. All food and drinks should stay in the party room at all times. All balls must stay in the ball pit. The person(s) booking the party is responsible for balls misplaced outside of the ball pit. An additional $50 clean-up fee applies if balls are not kept in the ball bit during your party.
Party Terms & Conditions
- NO NUTS. We are a NUT-aware environment (No almonds and walnuts etc.). All other outside food must be approved by Busy Bodies prior to the party date in order to ensure it is NUT FREE. If nuts are brought onto the premises, you will be charged a $75 cleaning fee.
- Only allowed to bring in the following food items: sandwiches, fruit & veggie trays, chips, cake and drinks. (No popcorn, rice, gum, candy, ice-cream cake). There is an additional $20 clean-up fee for every Ice Cream Cake brought onto the premise.
- Additional pizza may be ordered on the day of the party through Joyous Planet Indoor Playground. Refer to the “Party Extras” for prices. Pizza or any deliveries not ordered through this facility will be subjected to a $5 additional charge per delivery.
- Socks are mandatory for both children and adults. No shoes or bare feet allowed on the carpeted area. Socks will need to be purchased for those without socks at front desk.
- Joyous Planet Indoor Playground requires a $100 /$200 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit to reserve your child’s party. Balance of party to be paid at the end of your scheduled time.
- Joyous Planect is a shared facility where you may overlap with another party. Semi-private parties may be shared by walk-in customers. For an Exclusive Private usage, please refer to the Exclusive Extravaganza Party option.
- If invited children are to exceed 30, please notify Joyous Planec at time of booking for more party options.
- Be aware as to how many adults are attending. We require confirmation of your party numbers 1 week prior to your party in order to place your party in the appropriate room.
- All party packages including the number of guests are to be finalized 1 week before your party. Any downgrades to party packages will result a $20 additional fee after confirmation of your party package.
- We do not place parties according to amount of adults invited. Unless Room Upgrades are applied, we cannot guarantee what party room you will have.
- You can arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled time to set up (Party family only, not the guests). Be prepared to tidy up 10 minutes before your party ends to allow staff to clean up for the next party.
- You are responsible for removing all your personal belongings from the party room, you have 10 minutes to tidy up. NO additional time is allowed. An additional $ 40 fee will be applied to your final bill if you exceed the 10 minutes grace period. Even though you have paid the additional late charge, it does not allow you extra time to stay on the premises. If your party is later than your scheduled time, you will be charged an additional $40.
- All Character Parties, Special guests, Artists, Presenters can be booked through Joyous Planet Indoor Playground. If you wish to bring in a specific service that we do not provide, it must be indicated at the time of booking. Pre-approval must be granted for every service that is not booked through Joyous Planet Indoor Playground. Joyous Planet Indoor Playground reserves all right to refuse service.
- The person(s) booking the party are solely responsible for the supervision and safety of all the invited children. Be sure to have extra support (adults) to assist you in running your party safely and smoothly. We recommend a 1 to 8 ratio of adult to children. Parents/ Guardians are responsible for redirecting inappropriate play/ behaviours.
- The person(s) booking the party must ensure that all guests are respecting the rules and procedures of the playground so that the facility would be a safe place for everyone. All food and drinks should stay in the party room at all times. All balls must stay in the ball pit. The person(s) booking the party is responsible for balls misplaced outside of the ball pit. An additional $50 clean-up fee applies if balls are not kept in the ball pit during your party.
- No alcoholic beverages or smoking permitted.
- NO PINATA’S, Confetti balloon and string spray are allowed.
REMINDER: You are responsible for running/organizing your own child’s party.
